Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation, change, credit, and refund terms for lessons, rentals, excursions, private boat trips, Mer & Sel accommodation, and JT-operated packages.
Effective date: June 21, 2026
This policy applies to bookings administered by JT Pro Booking LLC for services supplied by JT Pro Center Ltd or another Provider identified in the written Booking Confirmation. It should be read with the Terms of Service.
1. Which Policy Applies
The Booking Confirmation identifies the service, Provider, payments, balance dates, and any booking-specific cancellation terms.
This policy covers:
- kitesurfing, wing-foil, and eFoil lessons;
- coaching and supervised watersports;
- equipment rentals;
- JT-operated excursions, private boat trips, and charters;
- Mer & Sel accommodation when a JT company is identified as the Accommodation Provider; and
- packages combining JT-operated services.
Independent hotels, villas, boat operators, and other businesses that take their own bookings and payments are governed by their own policies, as explained in Section 11.
2. When a Booking Is Confirmed
A booking is confirmed only after the required deposit or other required payment has been received, the booking has been accepted, and written Booking Confirmation has been issued.
Before confirmation, availability discussions, quotations, and payment requests do not guarantee a reservation.
3. Non-refundable Reservation Deposits
The deposit stated in the quotation or Booking Confirmation is a non-refundable reservation deposit. It is credited toward the total booking price and secures limited instructor time, equipment, excursion capacity, or accommodation availability.
Once the payment has been received and the booking has been confirmed, the deposit is non-refundable if the guest:
- cancels or changes travel plans;
- cannot travel because of illness, injury, flight or ferry disruption, passport or visa issues, weather affecting travel, or another personal circumstance;
- fails to arrive or attend;
- arrives late;
- voluntarily leaves or stops early; or
- does not use all or part of the confirmed booking.
Any payment above the deposit is governed by the payment and cancellation terms stated in the Booking Confirmation. Unless the Booking Confirmation expressly provides otherwise, an advance payment becomes non-refundable once paid.
A non-refundable term does not apply where the applicable JT Provider cannot supply the confirmed service, where this policy expressly provides a refund, or where applicable law requires otherwise.
4. Goodwill Changes, Credits, and Refunds
We understand that exceptional circumstances occur. JT Pro Booking LLC or the applicable Provider may voluntarily approve a date change, booking credit, or refund even where none is contractually due.
A goodwill decision:
- is made case by case;
- depends on availability and the circumstances;
- is not guaranteed;
- may be subject to a new rate or validity period; and
- does not change the policy for another booking.
No employee or representative promises an exception unless it is confirmed in writing.
5. Lessons: Kitesurfing, Wing Foil, and eFoil
Guest cancellation, no-show, or late arrival
The reservation deposit and other amounts identified as non-refundable remain non-refundable when the guest cancels or does not attend.
Lessons start and end at the scheduled time. A late guest may use only the time remaining. No time extension or refund is due for lateness, failure to be ready, voluntary early stopping, or a no-show.
Instructor decision and conditions
Kitesurfing, wing foiling, and eFoiling depend on wind, sea, weather, equipment, and the participant’s ability. The responsible JT Pro Center Ltd instructor—not the guest—determines whether conditions are suitable and safe for the participant, activity, and equipment.
If JT Pro Center Ltd cancels a lesson before it starts because there is insufficient wind, unsuitable weather or sea conditions, instructor unavailability, equipment failure, a scheduling error, or another reason within the Provider’s responsibility, the guest may choose:
- an available rescheduled lesson;
- a booking credit; or
- a refund for the cancelled lesson.
If a lesson begins but JT Pro Center Ltd ends it early because conditions become unsuitable or because it cannot continue providing the service, the completed time may be charged and the unprovided portion will be rescheduled, credited, or refunded.
Ordinary changes in wind strength, direction, weather, or water conditions do not create a refund if the instructor determines that the lesson can safely and reasonably continue, possibly with adjusted equipment, location, or lesson content.
Guest safety or conduct
No refund is due where the Local Operator reasonably stops or refuses participation because the guest is intoxicated, deliberately unsafe, abusive, unable or unwilling to follow safety instructions, or materially misrepresented relevant experience or health information.
Where participation is refused solely because the instructor determines in good faith that the guest’s disclosed physical condition, size, skill, or safety needs cannot be accommodated, management will review whether a reschedule, alternative activity, credit, or refund is appropriate.
6. Equipment Rentals
A rental deposit or advance payment is non-refundable when the guest cancels, does not collect the equipment, returns it early, or chooses not to use it.
If JT Pro Center Ltd refuses or cancels the rental before handover because it determines that the guest’s skill, equipment fit, wind, sea, or safety conditions are unsuitable, the guest may choose an available reschedule, credit, or refund for the unprovided rental.
After equipment has been handed over, weather changes or non-use do not automatically create a refund. Management may provide an adjustment where the equipment could not reasonably be used and was promptly returned.
Loss and damage charges are governed by the rental agreement and are separate from cancellation charges.
7. JT-operated Boat Trips, Charters, and Excursions
Guest cancellation or no-show
Deposits and amounts identified as non-refundable remain non-refundable when the guest cancels, arrives late, misses departure, or does not use the trip.
Captain and safety decisions
The captain or Local Operator has final authority over departure, vessel, route, stops, duration, passenger limits, and safety.
Weather, wind, sea state, mechanical issues, access restrictions, or safety concerns may require delay, a different vessel or captain, relocation, route changes, fewer stops, or cancellation.
If a trip operates safely and substantially provides the booked experience, a reasonable route or stop change does not automatically create a refund.
If the Local Operator cancels the trip before departure and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the guest may choose an available reschedule, credit, or refund.
If the Local Operator materially shortens a trip after departure because it cannot continue providing the service, it will provide a reasonable partial credit, partial refund, or rescheduled service for the unprovided portion, taking account of the service already received.
8. Mer & Sel Accommodation
This section applies only where the Booking Confirmation identifies a JT company as the Accommodation Provider for Mer & Sel Villa or Suites.
Payment schedule
The Booking Confirmation states the deposit, installment dates, and final balance date. The initial reservation deposit is non-refundable. Each later installment becomes non-refundable when paid unless the Booking Confirmation expressly states otherwise.
Guest cancellation and unused nights
No refund or credit is due for:
- guest cancellation;
- no-show or late arrival;
- voluntary early departure;
- unused nights;
- a reduction in the number of occupants;
- transportation delay or cancellation;
- weather affecting the guest’s travel;
- personal illness or changed travel plans; or
- failure to use an included or separately reserved service.
Date changes may be approved subject to availability, management approval, and any revised price or payment schedule.
Accommodation unavailable
If the Accommodation Provider cannot provide the confirmed accommodation, the guest may choose:
- a reasonable substitute accepted by the guest;
- a booking credit; or
- a refund for the paid accommodation nights that cannot be provided.
Nights already occupied are not refundable. A substitute will not be imposed without the guest’s agreement.
A minor, temporary interruption of electricity, water, internet, appliances, or another island service does not automatically create a refund. If a serious problem makes the accommodation materially unusable and cannot be corrected within a reasonable time, management will provide an appropriate remedy for the affected period.
Golf carts, scooters, and other vehicles are governed by a separate rental agreement. Unused rental days are not automatically refundable after the vehicle has been made available.
9. Packages and Multiple Services
A booking may combine accommodation, lessons, rentals, and excursions on one invoice.
Cancellation or unavailability of one component does not automatically cancel the other components. Any credit or refund is calculated for the affected component unless the remaining package would no longer provide its main stated purpose and the parties agree otherwise.
10. Events Outside Reasonable Control
If a hurricane, severe weather event, government restriction, port closure, natural disaster, civil disturbance, epidemic, utility failure, or similar event prevents the Provider from supplying a confirmed service, the Provider will offer a reasonable reschedule, credit, alternative, or refund for the unprovided service.
If the booked service remains available but the guest cannot reach it because of flight, ferry, weather, passport, visa, illness, or personal travel disruption, the guest-cancellation terms apply.
Guests are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance that covers cancellation, interruption, medical needs, evacuation, watersports, and transportation disruption.
11. Independent Hotels, Villas, Boats, and Other Providers
This section applies when JT Pro Booking LLC or JT Pro Center Ltd merely suggests or introduces an independent business and does not accept the booking or collect the payment.
For an Independent Provider service:
- the guest contracts directly with the Independent Provider;
- the guest pays the Independent Provider directly;
- the Independent Provider confirms the reservation;
- the Independent Provider’s cancellation and refund policy applies; and
- the Independent Provider alone decides and issues any refund.
JT Pro Booking LLC and JT Pro Center Ltd cannot refund money paid directly to an Independent Provider. If the Independent Provider cancels, fails to perform, or refuses a refund, the guest must pursue the matter directly with that provider.
A JT Company may reasonably assist the guest with communications as a courtesy, but does not guarantee a resolution, replacement service, reimbursement, or compensation.
12. Refund Method, Timing, and Processing Costs
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. A Stripe refund cannot ordinarily be redirected to a different card or bank account.
We will initiate an approved refund within seven business days after approval and receipt of any information reasonably required to process it. The customer’s bank or card issuer may require approximately 5–10 additional business days to post the credit, and occasionally longer.
When the Provider cancels or cannot provide the confirmed service, the refund for the unprovided service will not be reduced by a payment-processing cost.
Where a guest-requested or goodwill refund is voluntarily approved despite the payment being non-refundable, the refund may be reduced by the actual, documented, nonrecoverable payment-processing cost associated with that payment. No markup or blanket percentage will be added, and the amount will be disclosed before the refund is issued.
Currency-conversion differences and bank charges imposed independently by the guest’s bank are outside the JT Companies’ control.
13. How to Cancel or Request a Review
Websites: www.kitesurfgrenadines.com and www.jtprobooking.com
Send written notice to [email protected] or [email protected]. Include:
- the lead guest’s name;
- booking reference or invoice number;
- booked dates and services;
- the requested cancellation, change, or refund; and
- any relevant supporting information.
A cancellation is effective when received at either email address. A message sent only to an instructor, driver, personal social-media account, or Independent Provider does not cancel a JT booking unless the cancellation is confirmed in writing by the Booking Company or applicable Provider.
