Good weather all year
The high season from the beginning of November until the end of July offers sunny weather, very little rain, and great trade winds to cool you down from the hot days. For travel planning, see our best months for kitesurfing in the Caribbean guide.
From August to the end of October the weather can be amazing with little showers in the morning but clearing out for the afternoon.
Excellent Wind and Temperature
The Trade Winds blow consistently from November to the end of July and weaken in August until the beginning of November. See the Union Island wind season and weather by month notes for more detail.
The Air temperature is 30°C all year long and the Water temperature is 28°C so no need to bring a wetsuit.
Low rainy Season - August to October
Union Island is in the southern Caribbean, but hurricane season still needs to be treated seriously. From July to the end of October, guests should check seasonal updates, travel guidance, and weather information before visiting.
Outside the trade wind season, weather can still be beautiful, but wind is less reliable and travel plans should be checked close to the date.
